Education Initiatives
Education Initiatives:
At BIDM, we are committed to delivering high-quality education tailored to the unique needs of our hearing-impaired students. We emphasize sign language learning to ensure effective communication and inclusive learning environments. Notably, all our teachers have completed a certificate course in Indian Sign Language from the Ali Yavar Jung National Institute of Speech and Hearing Disabilities, enhancing their ability to connect with and educate our students. Our educators also participate in continuous teacher training and upskilling programs to stay updated with the latest pedagogical practices, ensuring innovative and effective teaching methods.
Student Initiatives:
At BIDM, we are dedicated to the holistic development of our students. We offer a range of vocational training programs to equip them with practical skills for future independence and employment. These include Bookbinding, Needlework, Screen-printing, and Computers, ensuring they are well-prepared for the professional world.
We also encourage participation in extracurricular activities to nurture creativity and teamwork. Our students actively engage in various events, sparking curiosity and fostering a spirit of inquiry. We take pride in hosting interschool events like science exhibitions, quizzes, and talent competitions, providing our students with opportunities to showcase their talents, build confidence, and interact with peers from diverse backgrounds.
